Dave Sheldon, Production Manager, (above) checks the set-up on a Colchester Tornado which is one of 11 CNC lathes in our 22 machine turning section. The skilled operators throughout this section are individually responsible for achieving the specified quality, supervised by frequent on-line inspection.
MILLING SECTION

Four 20 Station CNC Machining Centres with 4th Axis and Centurion 6 Controls ensure all Tip Seating and Spiral Tip Pocketing are precisely spaced and have a controlled lead.
Highly complex milling operations being carried out on 5 Wyssbrod triple spindle fully automatic spiral flute millers. These machines are part of a 30 CNC and conventional machine milling section which incorporates many Bradtool designed prototype cutters and specialist techniques. Again supervised on line inspection takes place frequently.
